Close battle, might be my favourite bar from Wordz this season. Slayerr's bar was ok too, I've heard the clap / chlamydia done before so any punches with this theme will lose a bit of sting for me, but I did like the clapped back / returning chlamydia shit. I think the originality of Wordz' wordplay is the separating factor for me but can see it going either way.

This is a really close one to me. Slay talking bird clapping is hella funny and the quote adds to its appeal. But the same with Wordz along with a pretty nice wp. For me where it kind of shifts it is the pronunciation of Dogeza. It’s looks like it should read Dog getsa and I’m not a Nahongo specialist so I had to phd google that thang. And I’m hearing Dough gays ah . That’s what’s throwing me off. I thinks is a dope attempt tho. Someone correct me if I’m wrong please .

wordz- i think the wp works after googling it, but had no idea what it even was ig it's a japanese word. from what i found the wp works fine and the connection is solid, no complaints past having to google some random ass word and make sure the wp works which i think it does
slayer- lol funny and i like the clapped back at her flip, seen the concept before but not worded like this. good personal and one of ur best i've seen
w/ edge slayer but both were good for different reasons, just comes down to if u prefer a more obscure non english wp/but more creative w good connection or a funny personal thats well worded w a good flip IMO. close, v good battle tho.
I liked wordz bar better conceptually and flow.. smooth bar both had fair punch game imo

Pretty good battle here. Words had a cool concept with nice personal tie ins/wordplay/ and solid wording all around. Execution was on point, I can’t complain. Slayer used a concept that I’m pretty sure baron recently used, regarding his Reddit history.. also i wasn’t a huge fan of the way the second line ended - the wording was off. Still a decent line but it wasn’t on par with words bar.

I disagree about Slayer using a concept similar to the one I did, in fact it’s only really his setup and the picture reference that are remotely connected to what I did, his actual concept to the line centres around clap/chlamydia and I haven’t done anything remotely similar to that tbh.
Wordz wordplay works fine for me, cleanly worded, though I would be lying if I said I got the meaning of it on initial read through. It comes down to Wordz wordplay being slightly too obscure but well executed, against Slayerr who has the less well delivered line but it being the more readily accessible line.
For me, that’s what decided it, I can see why it’s split voters down the middle but I’m edging it to Slayerr here for the more simple and direct hit.
