I have been to jail
But I don't see that as a fail
I learned patience sitting in a cell
I learned not to fear a man and look him in the eye
If I went back I'm sure that I'll survive
But that's the past
Nothing in this world makes sense it couldn't pass
You go to jail for possessing drugs
But if you kill your unborn child no one bat's an eye
And the judges are stupid guys
They've never been to jail so how can they empathize
That's what I realize
This world's a joke
