never wanted to sing look pretty or cook
being a lady came forceful with no apologys
all the prep ball players out there but me wanting a g
someone living life different than me
rocking a white tee
with a black in his mouth
spoke with a draw said it came from the south
cars money and girls all came fast
he said you only live once in the present not the past
since i listened and wanted to live
i gave into giving til i had nothing to give
no friends no girls no associates
no wonder i was use to this
i gave away my dreams and replaced them with schemes
took from innocent people robbing them clean
while i looked at him and all my stolen goods
i realized i was so called HOOD and misunderstood
i was that american dream the grimey one
riding disobedient with an army gun
shooting in the air just for fun
life is so fun when ya just this bad
life without this is lifeless its sad-
but just a reality- i'm being blunt ya see

Nice rhymes, it also had a good flow to it.
