Now people im sorry to say that this has haunted me for maybe 6 years but i have a question to pose, is there a video for The World Is Yours off of Illmatic and has anyone seen it? I could have sworn i saw this video but the thing that haunted me was that it was a slightly different beat and i know that at least one of the verses was different, i havent seen it but once and i was wondering if i dreamt this video, well?

yes, this was the version revealed to the mainstream, the beat has less character, nas actually raps the chorus, and the voice saying who's world is this are slow and sound kinda annoying, the video is kinda showing people hustling in the projects and it ends with a cop bust

i think there are 2 versions for this video.. the one with the original lyrics and beat.. and then theres another one.. ive seen this shit on tv a while back were they showed like a 2 second clip of the world is yours and the shit had the original chorus and everything
