Yea, it's just one of my classes, it's first year shit, so it's pretty simple....but I hate all that shit too...I prefer like systems analysis and shit....everyone else hates that shit, but I like it

Well it'll get worser. At uni we started the first year with Java, learning basics about AI, Had to do Assembley language as well as xhtml.
2nd year it was javascript with empahsis on servers and stuff, then LISP, More advanced Java, OpenGL...and also basics of C, C++, haskell, fortran. learn about operating systems as well.
Right now we're doing Java, actionscript 3 and flash. HTML, erlang, java with server.
