This is an easy battle to judge, I never heard of reflex so I was interested in what he could do against a well known member like Burden. Reflex didn't really put anything down worth reading or quoting. He should really working on wording his overall concepts and punches to make his verse better and more consistant. Burden had some punches that I thought were cool the first time around then I read them again for the break down and thought they flowed well but could have been stronger. Voting ring line was one of his better personals here. Burden gets the win on a more polished and consistant verse.

BURDEN: I gotta say I was feeling this verse in places. It had a nice variety of punches and you were rocking some nice swag in the verse in a whole. I do think that there were some ups and downs though. The BW opener was quite creative, the swag was what carried the punch though. Gag reflex was a solid hit. The teeth-well connected shit for me didn’t really hit that hard, just didn’t come off sounding that harsh at all. I’m not down on RB history and shit, so I can’t speak for the barcotic punch, although voting ring punches are pretty played out now though anyway. The alphabet soup just seemed out of place for me, like you had some harsh shit leading up to it and then its just really childish like. The signature style punch made me laugh, solid wording on that. The COM pic line was just funny shit, gave me a laugh. The closer had swag, nothing all that special but a solid way of ending a verse with a figurative FUCK YOU.



REFLEX: A cool verse to be fair, nothing overly great but it didn’t suck. I felt as though some of your punches weren’t necessarily hitting as hard as you would’ve liked. The opener guitar hero shit was just gay, like on the gayness that Burd’s alphabet soup line was on. The branch off of old styles was a cool concept, I thought you could’ve done something more with it though. I thought the founding fathers line was good on the wording angle, but the concept of him searching archives to build up his style of writing just has been done far too many times. The over all bar was nice, I liked the wording and it made me laugh. The problem at hand had some swag, that was all though.. for me it didn’t really hit as a harsh punch. The title list/hidden track punch was a bit weak, seemed out of place from the rest of your verse. The mobius strip was a solid hit, good wording made it nice. The closer just didn’t hit for me, I see where you were going but the humour just wasn’t there.


Overall, Burden had more hits and his verse was overall just that much better. He had some nice swag, his punches were creative in places. Reflex had some nice hits, but I felt that he had more average punches than Burd did. Both had that one really gay punch thrown in. This was FAIRLY one-sided

Burden- Your verse started off well imo connecting with some harsh fairly creative punches that stuck, but as the verse progress you may have laid off for whatever reason and it became mediocre.. Good start and creativity were your strong points.

Reflex- Your verse was okay, but it was honestly sub- LLL acceptable for the most part. You had a few good bars that woulda been really nice surronded by more potent material but you were very inconsistent. Structure was your strong point.
