just seen this on the news, last month she was speeding and had a car wreck that killed the other driver, prosecutors are pushing for manslaughter and the family is sueing for 50 million dollars for wrongful death.....her max sentence would be a year in the pen...........rofl.......

First of all, that charge won't even give her jail time if she has no priors. Secondly, a lawsuit with money like that would be taken up in civil court. She don't have that I bet. But I'm sure she has some loose change laying around.

Actually, no it wouldn't depending on your state of mind at the time. If she or you were drunk and caused a massive destruction like that that left someone dead, you'd get hard time, plus have to pay a fine and would have to do an ample amount of community service when you got out/if you got out. Seeing as how she wasn't under the influence of any alcohol and/or drug, she will get off easily if not having to do the 1 year of jail time. She was extremely remorseful which would also be in her favor. Like ole dude said, she had no priors, so her getting vehicular manslaughter is the worse she could get if not less.

but still... she was speeding. thats breaking a law. then she KILLED somebody because of that law she broke. I say we give the bitch the death sentence, if not a few years in the women's penetentary. besides, no matter how you look at it... she killed somebody. sure it was on accident, but the little kid who put his sister in a choke hold broke her neck on accident, so whats the difference lmao.
on the real... they should give her a couple years in a maximum security prison as like a reality series or something. vh1 would probably do it. and if they cant get brandy to agree, im sure tyson will lol.
