the method for playing instrumentals in your audio program is pretty much the same as for every other, go into new project or whatever, then import, import audio and then import the MP3 file u wanted to record over

I personally don't use Cool Edit, (I use Cubase SX3), but like I mentioned above the method's the same basically from program to program, One

I went to new session on cool edit, then went to insert, audio from video file, but every time i go to my shared file it empty even though I got songs downloaded. =/

MisterKey, dawg, you're doing the wrong kind of inserting, you should be inserting just audio from mp3 or music file, not video file

Key it works fine for me.. as long as the instrumental u need is mp3. find the folder and get it on CEP .... =/ tutorials and manual in sudi help section if ya need.

if you don't like adobe audition (i don't like it, too slow), just download Acid Pro 4. easy as fuck to the power of 10. Except you gotta know how to mix and master properly.

Make sure you're in Multi-track view, then select Insert Wave from file.. not insert audio from video or whatever, I think you're confused cuz it says audio..but Wav=mp3 or any other audio file for this matter.

After you get that straightened out I found this to be helpful.
