Whatsoever I feared has come to life
The bottle dances, advances, obscures my sight
Sweet nectar turned bitter, the ashtray is my mouth
Brain cells are in retreat, the train's heading south
Just when everyday seemed to greet me with a smile
The storm swept the horizon, seething and wild
It's been a while since the sunlight's not stung my eyes
Since the food's stayed settled, since I sung... or tried
