WHY YOUR THREAD IS LOCKED (READ FIRST)

Welcome to the Audio Showcase forums! Here, all up-and-coming and well established music creators showcase their latest and greatest work. You have the opportunity to listen to and give your input on the process, as well as contribute material of your own. While showcasing your work is one of the best ways to network and improve, there are guidelines in place that help us encourage a positive culture that's about giving and receiving in the best way possible. Here's community guidelines that will help ensure everybody's voice is being heard.



1) Please post two feedback links before creating your thread. Giving feedback is the backbone of Audio Showcase and Rapbattles, itself. It not only helps up-and-comers improve their music, but it also allows those more experienced to give insights on how to tap into your full potential. We ask that you accompany two links of which you've given thorough feedback to other artists works (None of that "This was cool", or "this sucks" one-liner bullshit )with your own posted thread to participate in this forum. The more feedback you give, the more likely members are to return the favor!


2) Don't free post! Please refrain from making any posts that are not relevant to the thread or forum you're posting in. You're just creating clutter for mods to clean up and giving yourself a bad rep. There's a chat thread stickied at the top of the forum if you wish to talk on music related topics, or to network. Freeposts will be removed/deleted!


3) Emb whenever possible. The majority of us members want the most cleanest/user-friendly experience we can, and embing allows us to listen to your music without being redirected from the website or risking malicious content/malware. When available, emb your link.


4) Do not post work that is not your own. If you're a manager and wish to promote your artists, I'm fine with that. If you do not own the exclusive rights to the product you are promoting/advertising (i.e - Newest single from a main stream artist, etc) do not post it! Your post will be removed, and you may be possibly banned - given the circumstances. You can share mainstream music in The Lounge , or other forums. This forum is strictly for the promotion of your own material!


5) Bumping your thread requires a NEW feedback link! Occasionally, you may feel your thread is not getting as much love as the others and you will want to bump your thread. If you do, please make sure you're also giving feedback to another member's Audio Showcase thread before you bump your own. Members want just as much promotion as you do, and the more feedback you give, the more likely you will get it back!
